News from The Tree House CAC -  January 2020

 

THANK YOU to all our Donors 

Our December Holiday Drive was a huge success! We were able to help over 30 families provide gifts to their children. Special thank you to Leslie Liberato, Rachel Anatol, the Flower Valley Community, and all their helpers for donating gifts to 61 kids! Their generosity this past holiday season was remarkable. In addition, we received an abundance of coats, hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, and pajamas throughout the past month. This winter season, the Tree House will ensure our clients in need walk out prepared for the cold weather, thanks to our wonderful donors. 

Special thank you to AstraZenca for holding a coat drive, and Project Linus for donating many warm blankets 

And a huge thank you to all who held pajama drives: 

- Luxmanor Elementary School      

- Farmland Elementary School 

- Lakelands Community Association and Restoration Church 

 

 

 

 

Will YOU Join us at Montgomery County's Sweetest Ride?

The Tree House Tour de Cookie is the Tree House's annual non-competitive, family-friendly, fun- filled bike ride. Choose among four different routes, including our NEW re-routed 12 mile route, additional distances range from 18 to 43 miles. The aim of the event is to raise awareness of child abuse prevention and promote the services offered by The Tree House Child Advocacy Center, services that provide hope and healing to sexually abused, physically abused and neglected children. All proceeds of the Tree House Tour de Cookie benefit The Tree House CAC, enabling us to better serve our clients. It is a wonderful event during which individuals, families, and groups can enjoy a day of fun, festivities, philanthropy, and COOKIES!
