News from The Tree House CAC - August 2019
The 2019 Tree House Tour de Cookie: Was a Record Breaking Year!
This year at our annual Tour de Cookie fundraiser, we had over 850 riders. It was a great day, with delicious treats. After a complete tally, we raised $75,000! Thank you to John Hopkins University Montgomery County and Rockville Bike Advisory Committee for all your hard work and support. Thank you to all our riders, volunteers, those who had a cookie stand, and all the bakers. We could not have put on such a successful event without you!
Will YOU Join us Next Year at Montgomery County's Sweetest Ride?
The Tree House Tour de Cookie is an exciting, fun-filled, and delicious bike ride from one cookie stand to the next. The aim of the event is to raise awareness of child abuse prevention and promote the free services offered by The Tree House Child Advocacy Center, services that provide hope and healing to sexually abused, physically abused and neglected children. All proceeds of the Tree House Tour de Cookie benefit The Tree House CAC, enabling us to better serve our clients. It is a wonderful occasion during which individuals, families, and groups can enjoy a day of fun, festivities, philanthropy, and COOKIES!
